Deep dive from higher to lower levels

Grids represent the different models / programs in the organization. Grids are governed by teams and consist of Elements.

These elements can range from strategic objectives, a collection of products, a collection of clients, a collection of activities or a portfolio of products. Grids also create an overview and allow a deep dive from higher to lower levels. Each grid is customizable and can be designed to adapt to a variety of models. Grids are stored in libraries and can be linked, shared and re-used multiple times.


Connect elements to indicate relationships

In Scientrix, everything is connected, and the grid serves as a place where connections can be made.

Elements can be loosely or tightly connected depending on the relationships between them. Grids can also connect to each other to form layers.


Review performance. Celebrate progress

Regularly review the performance of the elements within a grid by setting review dates in it, and celebrating where significant progress has been made.

Through notes and comments, users can also collaborate and share information and ideas.


Customizable & flexible

Each grid can be visualized to show the elements, team members, metrics, initiatives and risks that are on that level.

These can be exported into PDF format for reporting purposes, and each report is fully customizable.

The elements within the MatrixGrid are called performance cells. Each one is an independent yet connected cell that can be managed to achieve a desired outcome.

Create different element designs (squares, arrows, circles), set up your own color palette, visualize them any way you want, drop and drag them to change the order and share them in a common library. Selected icons can highlight achievements or point out critical elements.


Establish clear & achievable goals

Elements can belong to different groups or types – known as dimensions – which could include things like objectives, strategies, business processes or products.

These can be flexibly set up by the administrator of the system. Elements can lie within different levels of the hierarchy, and have different priorities, longer or shorter time horizons, different frequencies, require more efforts than other elements, have a higher strategic relevance and have different relationships to each other.


Quick & easy set up

Elements contain analytics about the topic represented in the element. Set up these analytics quickly and easily, or simply link them from a library.

Choose your own color palette, data set, time period and size of graphic to build the dashboard for that element.


Use the power of data

In this new agile world, data is everything. Link a KPI from the libraries and decide if you want to have a calculated KPI, or if you want to roll them up into trees.

Flexibly move your KPIs in a list, tag and sort them by tag group, or make comments on them.


Identify, analyze, score & mitigate

Managing risks forms part of any strategic effort, which is why identifying, analyzing, scoring and mitigating risks is part and parcel of every element.

With Scientrix, you can analyze and visualize risks, categorize them and store them in a risk register and then link them directly to where they’ll make an impact. Overall, this is a powerful way to enhance the effectiveness of risk management.

Execution without the right resources inevitably leads to failure.

Matching competencies between what is desired and what is available, and having an overview of where people spend their time, is crucially important for successful execution.


Customize & manage through the project life cycle

Projects or initiatives are managed in Scientrix through each stage, from ideas right up until results. You can customize each stage depending on your needs and view initiatives in lists, Kanban Boards  and in a calendar view.

Add a purpose, team members, budget, success metrics, dependencies, tasks, risks, issues, and documents. Set health criteria for measuring your progress and overall status. Graphs and analytics can be easily visualized, filtered using meta tagging, and downloaded into reports.


Establish hierarchies & track task status

Create and manage tasks in an agile way, through our drop and drag functionality. Visualize tasks in lists, Kanban boards and timeline views.

Task hierarchies can be established by creating tasks in groups and you can also track and roll-up the health status of tasks, make comments, and add relevant documents.

Trusted and shared data zone

Manage information artifacts in libraries

Important information artifacts and architectural components such as grids, elements, initiatives, KPIs, risks, issues, competencies, users, etc. are managed in libraries. This enables search and flexible re-use, as well as effective information sharing.

Easily import and export key artifacts to libraries

Easily upload users, KPIs, initiatives and other standard information artifacts into Scientrix using CSV (Excel) and other file formats, significantly reducing set-up time and speeding up value creation.

Dynamic integration using Scientrix’ RESTful API

Scientrix provides a very broad web services application interface (API) based on the REST standard, which can be integrated with existing applications in line with your application integration strategy.


Single tenant architecture

Each customer gets their own server and URL, with hosting either in the Hetzner data centres or via Amazon AWS.

Full encryption

All communication with the Scientrix application and database is encrypted using SSL/TLS standards, and at AES 128-bit.

Single sign-on

Scientrix can be configured for single sign-on and Active Directory authentication using the SAML2 standard.

Regular penetration testing

We conduct regular penetration testing on our application, focusing on the OWASP Top10 security risks and any other relevant security.
